We just noticed in the german part that the word "d_i_c_k" is censored and replaced with "[nocando]". I know that the word isn't politically correct for the english language, but the word exists in german, too, but with a completely other meaning. Could that replacement be reversed?
why don't you write Dic-k then ??
I think you don't know what it means.
In german, it simply means "thick" and that word could be used anywhere.
I do understand, but just avoid the [nocando]
It actually means fat. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> "thick" is (normally) used for items.
You have that in any language so you can't avoid it.
lol and btw have a meaning in Flemish too fi.
But a lot of ppl post in English. Young ones too.
So it's better to not use that kinda words to much.
Do you want to tell ME anything about my own language ? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />
I was writing about the german meaning.
A fat man would be in german ein dicker Mann, but you could use this word also for describing other things.
And El Gordo is in panish - as far as I know - also a big prize. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />
What does it mean in Flamish anyway?
I've met some in Flanders with the first name [nocando] - but always wrote it off to his parents poor knowledge of English...
yeah well... What kind of a name is "Attic" anyway eh <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" /> (or did you mean another name? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" /> )
Incredible ! This word is NOT censored ! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/badsmile2.gif" alt="" />

That's what I said. It means fat.
I wasn't refering to what it means in German or Dutch or Flemish. I was refering to what you said that it ment in English.
In German it's used for creatures and items.
In Dutch and Flemish too. But it's written "dik".
In English you use thick for items and fat for ppl.
In English you use thick for items and fat for ppl.
Maybe, yes. But that doesn't change the fact that "d-ick" can be translated with "thick" as well. And I think Alrik was talking about that meaning. And you were talking about the meaning "fat". So, you are both right and we are all happy. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />
I think you're right, El'Gammon.

I know. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />
Another one... If there are [nocando] Swords in the game, shouldn't we be able to say we found a great [nocando] Sword. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />
I mean, without having to type it as bas-tard, or something silly like that.
i suppose we could say illegitimate child sword.... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/delight.gif" alt="" />
or how about bats-turd sword? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />
I'd call it an nocando sword ! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

Can't censor that now, can they? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />
hm...
nocando very big dagger?
<img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/silly.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/delight.gif" alt="" />
<img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shhh.gif" alt="" /> if they find out about it, it will be cencored <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shhh.gif" alt="" />
Yeah, so uh, don't tell them about all the great ---------- swords, and uh, ---- daggers. In German, that is.
Mmm...
what about an " elite latex plate armor" ? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
and the "rubber dragon toy" from janus??
but that's only for forums. Thanks God, we can see bastar-d swords in game <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
Gregory Peck has died. He played the role of Captain (right spelled ?) Ahab in the movie "Moby [nocando]".
or was that moby'sdick, that Gregory Pick
found at the bottom of the ocean..... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

...they got snatched by some pussy,
and put in a box,
and buried deep in a hole! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />
