Anyone know? It's not in the manual and I thought it might appear in the games loading screens but so far nadda! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />
hello,

there is no key for that <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/disagree.gif" alt="" />, sorry

Yann
Ah.......poop! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ouch.gif" alt="" />

I thought I remember seeing a capture folder in the files for the game.

Can you add one in the next patch? Pleeeeeaseeeee....game doesn't like being alt-tabbed! Least not on my computer! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif" alt="" />
In the Directx Applet you can normally allow the PRINT key for that, overall printing in windows.

In most games it works, at least that's my own experience.
Yes this should be added !!!
Not only for problem solving alone, but Divine Divinity HAD IT !!!

+ it's ALWAYS cool helping someone out with pictures, or showing stuff <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
And I think it's MEGA simple for you guys to program this !

Oh and AlrikFassbauer, could yo uexplain exactly WHERE it is found that option. PrtScr has the copy function IN windows, but IN games ... no ...
If so , where does one enable it (not in directx panel that's for sure).
if u have microsoft word of a tool tht can take picture was a copy paste u can use the

Print
Screen
______

Sys Rq

which copys a screen shot. simply paste this into the document and save it <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

*edit* ther button his the next key along from f12 (not below!!!!) <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/alien.gif" alt="" />
yeah. We want it! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />
And then it's easier to make fan sites.
Still, a directory with taken screenshots would be better (and simple to incorporate in patch).
If I print screen and try to paste into a doc or whatever then I'll end up with having to tab out of the game, and that's the big problem. Can't tab out with out some problems.

I have paint shop pro with a multiple capture option but It's not ideal because it can crash and I'd lose all the grabs before I've gotten to save them.

there is a step but u must be patient with the loading, just save exit and come bk, ITs what i do <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> u don't lose nething if u quick save to exit. i think u do if u quick load fafter killing something <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/disagree.gif" alt="" /> i did with fergusan

and btw PATIENCE IS NOT A VIRTUE MUHAHAHHAHAHHAHA.

here here... pip pip... and all that! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/up.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/up.gif" alt="" />

i totally agree, and if it could be implemented in the next patch i'm sure it would be greatly appreciated by everyone involved!
In my "Systemsteuerung" (I don't remember what's the English name for this) I have an Applet called "Directx" . I downloaded it once from Microsoft, I think, but I'm not sure anymore. It might be that it ships nowadays even with the current directx package.

There, on the page "Directdraw" , there is an option "enable PrintScreen key".

I can send an screensot of that via e-mail. PM me if you want it.
The Print Screen button works, but does not automatically save the file. This is fine if you only want one screenshot at a time.

Until this feature is added, if it is;

PNGShot - 353KB download, single file, no install, open source
Saves as PNG, and has a very flexible and configurable naming scheme; you can specify a base name combined with a counter and/or (all or part of) the date and/or time, in a format you specify.

On my system, there is a 2 second freeze in the demo when saving screenshots, but that is not necessarily a bad thing; at least you know you got the shot. I ran the program through UPX to drop the files size from 688KB to 294KB.
This program thinks spreadsheet cells copied to the clipboard are graphics, and saves them as well.

Grabby - 100KB download, no install required, freeware
Good performance, with only a half second hesitation in BD. However;
- the counter re-sets whenever the program is re-started, so you would have to move the screenshots each session if you did not want them to be overwritten
- it stores its options in the win.ini file. It is only 8 lines, but it is not a good thing to do.

Hardcopy - 1.7MB download for install, 1.8MB for optional add-ons, donationware
very good performance. fairly powerful, though complex, program.
Available in Danish, German, English, French, Dutch, ...
Nice Raze. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/up.gif" alt="" /> I was just searching on google for the same programs (great mind <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/silly.gif" alt="" />) <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/up.gif" alt="" />
