I am picking up a lot of equipment with no stats and no weights in
the 3rd and 4th BF.
Also I would greatly appreciate some insite on how to move somewhere
after killing Samuel and not getting the wand as I am in a stagnant mode
and don't know where to go from here.

You do need the summoning wand to finish the game.

Did Sammy unobligingly die without dropping it in the west room of the final level (the level where you are told to get the wand from the west room)? If you killed him on the summoning level he isn't supposed to drop it there.

All I can think of other than using a cheat to give yourself the wand (if there is a cheat for that - I never use them so I don't know) is to talk to the guy who sent you to the west room and enter it again and see if anyhing good happens. Assuming <cough> that you have carefully looked (using "alt") already and the wand simply didn't drop.

The wand dropped but it dropped in another room from the one I
went to where the original fight with sammy started, It dropped in a locked
room across from the initial fight with the shadows and Samuel started,

Wierd (obviously a bug).

I assume (the perversity of the universe tending to the ultimate) that it dropped in one of the rooms that you can only get into after you demonstrate your ability to create rifts and see the elder.

Don't forget that the NW room with no door can be reached by teleporter from a SE room - the teleporter being partly hidden by some furniture. What I don't recall off hand is whether that SE room is one of the ones that you can only get into after seeing the elder - I mention this just in case it isn't.

Presumably if you reload and kill Sammy again the drop will be in a different spot.

Sadly, you are correct, Ariana - SE room can only be reached after the cut scene => requires the wand and the rest you mentioned. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/puppyeyes.gif" alt="" />

So what do i do now? I used a save game to retry the fight with samuel
and they both go stuck in the walls in the maze in act 4 test 3.

This is really strange - have you tried this: Lure Sammy out of his room, until you're in the large hall - maybe you have more luck? How do you kill him, BTW? Maybe it's your method? No offence meant - but I've killed him about 10x and never had this prob <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

I fought sammy with just my warrior, killed all the shadows in
that room, and sammy and I fought in the big room, he died
after a very long fight 70 + health potions, and when he died,
the wand went into the locked room on the right center, I
can see it in the room, but I can't get it. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

The same happened to me... it can happen if you kill Samuel too close to the southern wall then the wand can drop in the locked room. What I did was save the game when I had Samuel close to death - then I didn't have to replay as much of the fight if something went wrong. Then, before finishing him off, I lured him into the center of the room. Then the wand should drop where you can reach it.
