Hi

I just started playing the game and spent SOME time trying to figure out where to get the bones needed for ailing the poisoned imp early in the 1st act from. I have run the dungeon through a couple of times, and apparently I have developed a blind spot - I have no clue where to get it. It is an early quest and I am not an idiot, I believe, so I probably just run by it all the time.
There is a locked door behind the 2-door-2-levers pass just in the central-east part of the dungeon, and I can't open it, is the bone monster there? (After learning from these forums that the lockpick skill is bugged I have to retrieve my lockpick skill points at once <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />)

i dear friend, welcome:)

the bone the imp needs ( i think it's a tooth), is given by a especific monster on that level. you need to find a room locked, if i remember well that lock opens after you click on the burning torch near the door. inside you will find the monster, when it dies, you will see that "Bone"!:)

The bone you need is actually as the other poster said. It is a tooth from what the imp called the bony monster. If you look on the map you'll see a giant skeleton of a monster in a room. You have to click something is particular and i believe it is a torch to unlock the door. Just to prepare you, the bony monster is a giant spider. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/alien.gif" alt="" />

Thanks guys, the giant spider is slain, the tooth retrieved <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> I just didn't notice that torch.

Was there a clue or something that you figured out that you had to click on a torch?

I think the only clue was that all of the other torches in the room were out, with the only lit one being beside the locked door. Earlier in the game you had to light or extinguish torches to open passages, which had more direct clues.

Thank you Raze.
For the life of me I couldn't figure out how to get that door open so I had to use a hint.
I thought maybe I missed a clue or something.
Now I don't feel so bad about using the hint.
