Preview at Gamespot

"Divinity II's focus on world-building and a narrative that puts importance on the consequences of players' actions look to make it a natural fit for fantasy fans who don't currently get enough dragon in their gaming diet. It's due for release on January 5, 2010, on the Xbox 360 and PC."

Looks like January 5 2010 is the final date, which is fine with me. That way I'll be able to socialize with people instead of being on my computer all the time to play Divinity 2. The video they have there is pretty cool too. I'm liking that dragon armor.
Here's the link to the gameplay video, the Orobas Fjords, a very important area for zeppelin trade across Rivellon, but this does not guarantee that it’s a safe place to be…

Have a look! smile
This game looks freaking hard. I'm so glad there's a pause feature.
It can be pretty hairy at times. Unless you play thoughtfully it could easily turn into a potion spam fest. Once the reviews come out, it'll be easy to tell who did what smile

Tbh - it is not. Game is pretty easy, especially @ the end. I never used tactical pause, I just didn't find a reason for that.
Seems like they liked what they saw.
Hope this game on 360 is region free.
As I may have to import since theres no UK Publisher mad

It is there for you to use or ignore as you see fit, just depends on your playing style. Pretty handy to use spells like Charm and the like and of course to calmly view the battlefield and - even more important wink - to take the time to down a healing potion. Bottoms up! kitty
Divinity 2
Risen

Funnay.
I would love some videos of someone going through the early levels without tactical pause. Big encounters please. Never is such a strong word smile

The game is as hard as you want it to be. There's a dificulty slider, or not?
This game is freakin hard when you play with mage and use only magic

Even on "hard" level - it is not. Actually, the game is is much boring on Hard difficulty since instead of making enemies tough it's reduces the amount of EXP. Less EXP - less skills. Boring...

yea I guess it is very easy if you put first 20 points in strength and rest in stamina
I mean I know it is easy when you have 5000+ health
Even like that, if you have to be up-close and personal you better have some skills available. Plus it would suck having to wait for all your health to regenerate like that every time - or waste potions on it. 5000 Health, even with multiple regeneration enchantments, would take a long time.
The game is very hard at the beginning for any class. But as soon as one has some skills at level 5 it quickly becomes easy mode...

Level 10 fireball & firewall is enough to easily win the game.
