Hi, I want to buy this game from Steam but game's price on Steam is still too high. It is $49.99 (it is $29.99 on D2D), so I hope you or dtp will make price cut on Steam version or make a great weekend deal. That will boost the sales of the game. I am saying this because I am buying nearly all games from Steam and I think that is the best digital PC store. Thanks.

Amazon's DVD version is cheaper than both.
Currently $28.53 + free saver shipping.

It would make more sense to address the issue with Steam and not here?

Wrong, devs and publishers of the games are chosing prices for Steam not Valve.

Really ? Because Valve wants quite a bit of revenue from selling - which could drive the prices up.

Valve's known for often lowering prices and ESPECIALLY their crazy sales (Weekend, X-Mas, Summer, Mid-Week, etc etc).

I'd guess that Valve (Steam's 1st party publisher); the game's 3rd party publisher on Steam; and the game developers got to agree on when what goes on sale and whatnot.
