Is there any way to change the font size?

The black space where dialogs appear is really big, but the text is so small that I can't play anymore after a few minutes...

Other than lowering the game resolution, I'm not sure if any options directly influence the font size.

Did you try checking off the option not to use the desktop resolution for the UI? I don't know if that effects the text, though.
