The minimap doesn't save its zoom position in game saves, so it requires readjusting every time a game is loaded. It's a bit irksome, and would be nice if a patch saw it made to remember its zoom configuration - maybe not even as a part of the save, but as a general game setting so that wherever it last was is where it will continue to be the next time a game is returned to.
