Hello my fellow twitch party members.
We have all seen her. Her dancing skill was beyond our comprehension and she just wouldnï½´t stop. Of course iï½´m talking about dancing girl! And what we want? We want her! Where we want her? In game! So if you support this proposal write here, discuss and let Swen and his minions know!
Yes! Make her as spell from combination of Charm and Summon Demon! :D
Because what can go wrong XD
They already know. Hope they do it!!
I think that i would like her to be an NPC in a pub where music plays all the time and she just wont stop dancing :-D... that would be perfect reference :-)
You guys are crazy! hahahaha
And you guys love us for it Jeff!. Yes, we totally need Dancing Girl.. as well as Hat of norD
Who is the Dancing Girl? I wasn't able to catch the stream...
Hello Jeff! Spread the word, oki?
On another note, DancingGirl has made it onto suggestion page, here:
https://larian.uservoice.com/forums...uggestions/9998760-dancinggirl-for-dos-2Pls support there also
Hey Jeff!
Yeah, the Hairy Hat of norD MUST be in the game! :D
I'm late to the party, dancing girl?
Hello, dancing girl was a girl (obviously) who at larian twitch stream party danced all the time (many hours) and she was good! And on fire! And we like her and want her in game! :-D
Grand Hat of Hairy Hairyness, Revelator of Truth.
"Helps you find the Hidden Design".
It was one of the highlights during the stream.
You have all my support.
DancingGirl has all the right moves.
We need this.
@Dr.Koin, you never stop surprising me... I'm speechless.
Also people, "The Dancing Girl" was one of the dev girlfriend. It's funny but I don't think, sadly, that it will happen in the game
Oh cmon.
Did you play Divinity 2? There in battle tower you can find at your throne room girl, which dances for your enjoyment. Donï½´t tell me we canï½´t do it here.
(i know that your magnificent influence can get this done)
But LordW can any animator possibly catch the complex beauty of Daning Girl's moves? Is it even possible to replicate but a shadow of her mighty dancing skills? Why even try?
If her moves cannot be captured, then we need to at least include some tale about her!
"Now, sit aroud lads and listen to the tale of magnificent Dancing Girl, whose skills and zeal surpassed many..."
Well of course we cannot capture with mere computers her beauty and fire with which she has danced. But we can do our best to appreciate her in this magnificent game! So even if final animations wont be true to her, I say. Lets try!
Yes! Let everyone have at least glimpse of the splendour of her dance!
Hey Jeff!
Yeah, the Hairy Hat of norD MUST be in the game!
I vote for this!
Nooo... how did that hat get here? Who did that? This is DancingGirls place in Larians space-time-continuum!

Jeff has a nasty habit of disrupting the canon. :P
This please, I really want to see this fabled DancingGirl.
Hmm im not sure guys if Larian saved stream from the party... will look now.
http://www.twitch.tv/larianstudios/v/18491066At last! At 1 hour 10 minutes and 17 seconds there she is! Dancing in background for many hours till the end
p.s. It was really awesome guys everyone was playing games or something and she just kept going!
I think that i would like her to be an NPC in a pub where music plays all the time and she just wont stop dancing
... that would be perfect reference
The rest of the pub consists of other "devs", aswell as a strange mute skeleton, a hidden wheresheep, a penguin, and strange strange boxes where people gather around

Poor little weresheep and penguin... they were raped badly by some inconsiderate devs. :-(
I have to dig out it. What with dancing girl? Will she be in game?

Just a little question: How many people would get a DancingGirl appearance which is a reference to a pretty obscure and now deleted video for a Kickstarter project that not even all backers saw?
The link does not work...
By default, Twitch does not save past broadcasts, and if you enable automatic archiving, it still only lasts 14 or 60 days, depending on the type of account. You have to specifically mark part of a streaming video and save it as a 'highlight' in order to keep it indefinitely.

If you are going to argument things over "How many people would get it", "is it worth it if only X% gets it" rather than "How awesome would it to add this", "it would be a great shoutout to our fans to have this in" you've turned from actual developer who develops games with souls to churning out a checkbox marked new game that's made up purely off statistics and as result is hollow, barren and devoid of actual passion.
Then again, a reference still need to target an audience large enough.
I consider myself a fan of Divinity having played more than two hundred hours on the game, and wouldn't get that reference, so yeah, I think it's obscure enough...
Plus it would be kind of sad for people not to even be able to join the private circle of those in the know because the source of the reference does not even exist anymore...
The point of a reference is to embrace a community not to serve as a wink to only a chosen few.
Yes, I'm sure adding a NPC dancing in a tavern will drive a wedge in the community. I'm sure people who don't even know it's a reference will go up in arms!
EDIT: What are references BUT a wink to those who know. Really?

It was just a simple question. I think that it's a bit excessive to bite my head off like that.
Do you have a link to where I can go to see the reference?
That was actually my point.
There is no link whatsoever...
Can you point me to the wheresheep origin?
And then tell me exactly how I should be offended and split not knowing rather than just enjoy the ingame content that some people recognise, but 99% would not?
