Me and my friend have been trying to get multiplayer to work for a couple days now with no luck. We've tried every solution we saw on the forum. Our router ports are open are NAT type is open. We can connect to anyone elses game. But if one of us tries to host we get an error saying unable to connect. This is extremely frustrating we've been playing all sorts of multiplayer games together for years, and we've never had this problem. I've even brought my console to another house and tried using their internet. We've tried everything we can think of does anybody know of a fix?

Have you tried joining by friend invites, in addition to the lobby?

If you have the online visibility set to invite only, try increasing it to friends only or public.

If you start an open multiplayer game, can random people join? Or do you know anyone else you can test playing with?

We have tried by invite as well as the lobby. We've tried every online visibility. And I don't know anyone else who has this game.
