The Eternal Aetera is too difficult. - 21/09/17 05:46 AM
Hey there. Aetera the Eternal is LV 14, I'm lv 14, and this fight is literally impossible. I've never encountered a fight thus far I couldn't overcome with preparation and strategy, including that giant demon with 3800 health, Morgus. But Aetera is just not a winnable fight.
The reason being;
The fight start with 4 hounds. Each hound hits for 300 physical damage, crits for 500, and can attack 3 times in a row. with the exception of Ifan who has 500 physical armor, my other three characters have between 100-300, which means after being attacked once by 1 hound, they are on the verge of death. Then, on Aetera's turn, she creates 2 more hounds, and hits the party for Ice Hail which does about 900 damage if its a direct hit.
The hounds are weak to Air, but shes strong to air.
The hounds are weak to magic, but shes got twice as much magic armor as physical armor. You can't distract the hounds with taunts because they have too much physical armor.
I tried to manipulate the fight by summoning and enchanting an Air Incarnate champion and using him to destroy the wolves. This is good, but he can only do 80% the health of 1 wolf per turn with his AP, and the wolves just ignore him and kill my main character on the first turn. I've tried this fight 10 times already and each time, no matter what I do, my main character dies turn 1, follow by everyone else shortly after.
What am I supposed to do? Why do the wolves do 900 damage per turn? Why is there no Defense stat?
