Since I installed BD on my Win2K system on friday, I lost my internet access.
All my network settings seem correct, but I just can't get out. My other computers (on the same router) has no problem.
So you still have local network access, but no Internet access ? Can you ping the router ? Run ipconfig (start > run > cmd > ipconfig /all) and check your local IP and mask to see if you're in the same subnet. Check for your DNS servers IP, try to resolve an URL on another PC and then ping the IP with the PC having troubles. Try to boot up in "safe mode with network" and see if it works there.
I blame Starforce 3. I "cleaned" it away, using Starforce's own removal tool, but as I read somewhere, it doesn't remove the drivers completely, nor did it fix my problem.
The starforce cleaning tool really removes all the drivers from the system.
I am upset. Whether Starforce 3 really is to blame or not, I can't know for sure. I just know that the only thing I've done on this machine the last couple of days is to install BD... Tomorrow I am reinstalling this machine, so we will never know...

Right now I'm playing BD in another OS (WinXP SP2 Beta). I'm in act 2 and having a good time!
