I have a problem, in act 2 I can't enter battlefields although I have taken the key.
What could be the problem?

The BF is different each act, so you must find new keys.
Did you click on the BF key, and get the message 'you now have access to level x battlefields'? If you just picked the key up, you can click on it, then optionally drop it, since it is no longer needed.

In the first act, i could enter the BF, in the second act i have taken the for the BF of the second act (and clicked on it), but the problem is that if i try entering it, in the middle of the loading screen it stucks (and i have to close the game through the task manager). My brother's character doesnt have that problem although he is on the second act too.

Another problem i have is: in a current save game, i can take all the weapons (one handed and two handed) with a shield, the attack of all of the weapons is the same attack (i mean, that my damage doesnt change if i take another weapon), and all of my weapons get extra stats from intelligence (and my character is a warrier which has only 2 intelligence).

Maxlvo => if you enter the BF for the very first time, the Fields are generated (for each act again). And the loading screen is stuck at certain spaces. How long did you wait?

If you look at the loading screen, it has 6 curves, right? I checked this on my Athlon XP 2800 with over 1 GB RAM for the Engl. version 1.45.
Pause aber 1/2 curve,
pause after 1 1/2 curves,
large pause after 4 1/2 (about 50 sec?) -
medium pause after 5 1/2 curves (about 35 sec).
I did this by counting

The very first access to the Battlefields requieres a *lot* of system resources ! Especially free disk space !

During the process the game was suddenly minimized and windows asked me "there is not enough disk space on C: , should I delete something" or so - it meant that there was not enough space free, either for temporary files or for swap files (which could basically be the same, except the windows swap file.)

If you hover the cursor over the damage range, it always lists 2 as the component from primary stats? A club should get all of its damage bonus from strength, a sword get most from strength and some from agility, a bow gets most from agility and some from strength, while a knife get all from agility. It sounds like the game thinks everything is a bark or willow, which can get a damage bonus based on intelligence.

Try removing the weapon and shield completely and see what is listed for damage. After that, equip a sword or something, and see if the damage remains as before.

Try deleting the files in the dynamic folders;
'..\Beyond Divinity\Acts\Act1\Dynamic', '..\Beyond Divinity\Acts\Act2\Dynamic', etc.
These folders are used as a cache for the game. Files are created / copied there from the save game folder when you load, and written / copied to those folders when you save a game. The files will be re-created as required the next time you start Beyond Divinity. If there was a corrupt file in those folders, deleting the files should fix the problem.

THERE ARE MULTIPLE KEYS FOR THE BATTLE FIELDS, HAVE YOU NOTICED THAT U FIND ATLEAST 3 KEYS FOR THE BATTLE FIELDS FOR LEVEL OF THEM. IN ACT THREE, I FOUND ONE OF THE KEYS FOR THE BATTLE FIELD AND WHEN I TRIED TO GO TO IT THE LOAD SCREEN CAME ON AND ONLY HALF WAY LOADED THEN THE GAME CRASHED, BUT WHEN I FOUND THE OTHER KEY, IT LOADED TO THE BATTLE FIELD JUST FINE.

Sorry, but you sound like Death in the Discworld. By the way, one of our Forummembers here actually has the name DEATHATTHEDOOR .

I believe he was commenting on your LOUD text. Just wondering, is your caps lock key broken or something? Some people who read these forums are not native english speakers and have quite a bit of trouble reading text in all CAPS. If you can, please try not to type that way.

it's like i wrote to kiya, i use the computer at work here at Shaw AFB, so much of my job requires the text to be in caps. I truly hate hitting that key cause i forget to all the time, so i just leave it on. I appaulogize for it, if it is taken as being loud. I have been using internet since the 386 days and back then noone cared about caps on or off. All it meant then was some writing on the screen and thats all. But anyway you guys take care.

I know what you mean. I started on a 300 Baud Applecat modem on an Apple II, back in those days it was so slow you had to scroll the text as it downloaded. I always wondered where the whole shouting thing came from, but it's pretty much become the standard meaning of all caps text. I understand where you're coming from, but it is a bit hard on the eyes sometimes. Of course, I'm a bit harder on people, because I used to be a Co-Sysop on a local BBS and I moderated the message boards. At least I've stopped correcting people on their spelling. Heheh... Old habits die hard. Seeya.
