i stopped 3/4 year ago
was lvl 79, total lvl abt 1100.
All stuff i had was worth about 5 milion, later, becouse of santa prices, it would have been about 6,5m.
Got bored, got hacked, didnt play anymore.

Yeah getting hacked sucks. I am a lvl 71 right now. Trying to get full zammy armor.

i played the game for about a month. the 3rd day or so i was walking towards one of the city's and there was a guy cuting trees and a treespirit came out and killed the guy! i looted his body and found almost full rune (exept for the bodyplate and a weapon, there was a woodcutting axe altough) and i sold it to the first best dude, not nowing its worth. i had 100k after playing 3 days! but i was getting boring so i gave everything i had to a newbie and i quited the game.

No i am not a member, and i will never become one. I think the game is just fine without having to pay for it. This is a really great "free" game. people only pay for members because they have no life and have nothing else better to do then play runescape.

anyway 5 dollars a months is almost nothing and you get a great game for some time, at least i thought so at that time..

its kinda stupid that when you have memberobjects you cant use them anymore when you arent a member anymore. like one of the guys i used to chat with while playing the game, had bought dragonarmour while he was a member, and then he quited paying and was a normal player again and coulndt use his dragon armour. that sucks!

I walk in non-members with a full guthix outfit wich is members only, so every1 thinking im a rich member and asking for stuff while i actually have nothing and just put good looking cloths on the last time i logged in as member...

yes, the god armor. they all look really nice, and cost alot too. full armor can cost up to 4-mil.

Just took a butchers at the game and it looks quite old, very "blocky" looking!

the graphic where way less the first, i think, threee year, and now they have been updated 2/3 years ago. As it is a game wich you play in IE you cant make it tii well graphed. I think i would play it again if they made it a downloadable full-screen program (with upgraded graphs).

Graphics aren't everything. the gameplay is great. you can just walk around and do whatever you want (as long as you have the skill). yes the graphics aren't great like Fable, but this is a free online game. that you don't have to download to take up hard-drive space.

is it worth me giving it a go then?..If so gis some tips please, I do like my starter hints. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif" alt="" />

hmm, do quests and try to get a little starting money like 5k (you could mine and sell to ppl for example) and start to buy stuff what people often need (much choice, need to find out yourself...).

Ps: the game is quite addicting, try not to be scared off by graphs <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> ...

Tried it...went thru the tutorial and started doing i don't what??...Also i had no sound at all as didn't some other players who were playing as well!
Can't realy say i'm in any hurry to go back i'm afraid!!

you only have sound when you play in high detail mode, but well, if i play again now i get bored too...

i agree, the game is quite repetative. but the rewards for doing so... i don't think there is sound on the game. i play in high detail all the time and nothing. no music or effects. mabey sound is a member thing also.
