It's hard to choose a favorite song for me, cuz there are sooooo many great songs out there. I have a few favorite artists like Loreena McKennit, P!nk, Nickelback, James Blunt, I like '80 music a lot and got a soft spot for rockmusic in general.

Whats ur favorite song?

Don't have one. I listen to far too much music to ever have a clear favourite.

Whats ur favorite genre of music?

Rock & Metal without a doubt. I listen to a ton of other stuff too, but Rock is king.

Whats ur favorite decade of music?

The 80s. Which I did not really appreciate at the time, but then the 90s hit... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

Who's your favorite artist?

I don't have a single favourite artist. I listen to far too many. Skye Sweetnam, Iron Maiden, Twisted Sister, Rush and The Bangles would consistently make my top ten, though.

Whats your favorite type of music player?

My computer <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Tough one - I don't listen to a whole lot of music, but as I usually just play Billy Joel on my piano I would go with a lot of his songs.

New York State of Mind, Lullabye, Baby Grand, Piano Man, are just a few of my favourites.

My fav music player is of course - my piano!! Heheh! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />

Well I put a medley of some of the songs I like on youtube.

Couple of rough moments in it (cos I don't like the camera on me <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" /> ) - haven't had a chance to do a cleaner version.

But check it out if you like, Piano man is the second song in the medley.

Could be. Nevertheless there is one song I can declare to be my favourite song with a clear conscience:

Tool - "Wings for Marie (Pt.2) <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/up.gif" alt="" />

Damn, I guess there is no song I heard more often... and that's notable, cuz it was publicized in 2006. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/exclamation.gif" alt="" />

Thanks guys - I've been playing for years on and off, but I never had a piano until 8 years ago. Then I had to sell it when I moved so had a 6 year gap of not playing so got really rusty.

I'm only getting back into it now after buying a new piano last year. Still very rusty on a lot of pieces.

Anyway - back to peoples favourite songs... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

Right now I'm very partial to "Long Trip Alone" by Dierks Bentley.

My all-time favorite album is 'Dark Side of the Moon' by Pink Floyd (yeah, old-geezer-music), but generally my tastes are heavier than that: metallica, ayreon, dimmu borgir, therion, ... Anything that's metal, with a darker hint of fantasy/sf.
