Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) General dividing items

In games like Diablo and baldur's gate, you could split up your 5 potions into a certain number like 2,3 or 1,4 etc.. so that you can save some of them for later by leaving it at your base.
Is this possible in DD ? I haven't found out how and the manual doesn't describe it. It would be like the trading window where you choose how many of a certain item you want to put into the trade.

Hold the Control key while dragging an item, when you release the mouse a window should pop up, allowing you to select the specific amount of items you want to use to create a new stack.
