This game is coming out later this year and it makes me think of DD. It has 6 unique classes like a vampire/werewolf charcter, etc. The game suppose to have up to 200 quests(DD anyone????) and the screenshots at videogames.com shows that it runs very similiar to DD. K maybe I am thinking this is Larian's next game, but damn, it is mighty close to DD that it is making me drowl with anticipation.

Just a little snippet of info on an upcoming game that makes me wish DD2 is out.

Later phoenen

DD, game of a thousand quests. DOH!

Good link Alrik. That looks pretty damn good. I love the ideas they've put into the characters. Pretty original from that perspective.

Hello everybody , nice to see y'all, i have had a butchers at the sacred sight and was just a tad bit worried when the game was said to be in the diablo mode!
Not that Diablo was that bad but not in the same mode as
Does look rather good though all the same.Anyhow must get back to the box, European cup final has just kicked off..Juve-v- AC milan.

Gamespot is now saying that Sacred will come out in March. Too bad that it is the same time as BD. I had never heard of it before seeing this evening; it does sound good.

To say it in a rather cynical way : Well, German games aren't higly promoted in other countries.

This screenshot reminds me of somet...inkwink.gif" alt="" />
In a nutshell, it seems like a game ressembling every good thing from Diablo 2, Beyond Divinity and Blade and Sword:
- Multiplayer and character variation from Diablo
- Interactivity, freedom and the 3d engine from BD
- Combo and Defend from Blade and Sword.

BTW, the name is "Sacred", which directly points to "Divine", no?

Larian intends to make BD work on a p3 600 mhz machine, still with great graphics.
Here, the gfx are not THAT good to require a 1 GHz.

Well, bot Sacred and have something in common : Bothz had DSA-based predecessors which didn't make it. For Larian it was LMK, and for Sacred it was Armalion, both based on the German RPG system DSA (Das Schwarze Auge, also known as The Dark Eye or the Realms of Arcania).

The developing company for Armalion, Ikarion was its name, went bancrupt a relatively short time before finishing the project. Ascaron bought ? it's remnants and made Sacred out of it.

The noXQs Order is the only community out there which still keeps the memory of Armalion.
