That really sucks that it's for the US only seems it's the Europeans who have bought and supported this game.

Well, why so sad? It was pretty clear from the beginning that all this long road was for happy american kiddies. Product tested on second-sort ppl in EU and now going to be released on "real" markets in US :P

Well, speaking as someone eligible to enter a couple contests I have a slim chance of winning, I would have rather had a collector's edition, or a t-shirt for pre-ordering...

While the US publisher could probably sponsor contests outside of North America, that is not part of its purview, and would involve extra legal and customs issues, etc.
