Yeah I'm really enjoying this game. I usually play console RPGs and I found Baldur's Gate and Never Winter nights to complicated because there are too many tweaks you have to do to your characters just so you won't get killed in battle easily and they didn't explain the rules enough in the manual. I mean what is 1D3? Or why does better armour=less armour class number? Weird Those games are very hard to get into and I didn't even bother to finish those games.
While diablo was an easy computer RPG to get into it lacked a good story and character interaction.
Divine Divinity the first RPG that I got into and I could see myself finish this game because of its great story and interaction with ease of gameplay.
1d3 is one die 3 which is actuall a six sided die roll that is divided in half. NeverWinter Nights is a Forgotten Realm setting game so it is drawn specifically from a world created in the Dungeons and Dragons environment and so would use 3rd eddition rules. There are a lot of dice used in D&D. The most common are a ten sided die or 1d10, a 20 sided die or 1d20 and the six sided die (like a yatzhee die or pretty much any other game, six sided is the most common die) 1d6. when you see a notation regarding a die roll you roll that type of die to get your random number.
Oh! Another RPG from Larian? Oh! That is good news indeed! I await it's release anxiously.
