This allows you to modify the following:

-Aprox. 75 categories for each below:
-The three difficulties.
-Inside these difficulties you can mod many of the two main characters stats as well.
-Global Settings.
-Modify companion stats.
-Modify some Enemy/NPC stats. (This can be opened fully upon request, just going to take a little time.)

Requires Restart of game if you don't have a mod already installed or you need to go through a process. If you have a mod installed, you can just install this file at the location given below.

So if you don't have a mod...
Install Rhidian's Blank Main Mod, here: Download Blank Mod

(Here is a post discussing how to place it and how to modify a save game without mods to accept mods: How To )

-If you like mods or tinkering, don't start another game up without installing this blank mod. Doing so means you can add other mods without restarting the game moving forward. This acts like a Base Mode, by itself this mod does nothing, you add mods to it as you go.

Download the Characters.txt here (Stock Settings): Characters.txt

Place the Characters.txt here:
- In the Modified_Main Mod folder or whatever mod you have installed, create sub folders: Stats, Generated, Data. Then copy Character.txt into the Data folder. EX.

Check the mod in the game if you haven't and play.

The stats in Characters.txt are read each time the game starts, so you can use Notepad now and make several tweaks to gameplay by easily editing this file.

Here are some of what Characters.txt looks like and how to modify:

This is the Easy Settings for player and npc, simply modify the numbers for each category and that will be seen in game (negatives work to, see NPC)

In this example, the changes to this fictitious Easy are big bumps in Perception, Telekinesis, Personality, Craftsmanship and Nasty Deeds. It's more of an "I'm Stuck" setting than even easy. In the case you are missing something and are stuck, you'll get large bump in stats to possibly catch something that was missed.

^ What do you mean by this? If I download another mod(modified loot mod) I should put it in there?

Yes unless directed to another location for mod placement, for example the Font mod goes into a different area all together.

But what we've found out and I believe is the latest, for many mods you just keep adding them to an existing mod, so there are no restarts. In most cases that should work.

There is now a method to adding a mod to an existing games without mods, I haven't tried it personally.

There is also a Blank Base Mod, which if you are lucky and see and install that before you start a game. Even though it does nothing, it opens you to add mods at any point with relative ease.

I tried by mixing "extra speed mod" with yours. It works perfectly together.

Once again, Thank you so much c:

This works perfectly for me, and I used the Infinite Use Skillbooks mod with it. No problems at all.

I'm wondering if this works with multiplayer, though. I'm thinking of buying a copy of the game for my sister, but she's pretty terrible at games, so I figured I'd boost her character's stats. Would she have to modify the Characters.txt on her end, or would the game be using my Characters.txt since I would be hosting?
