I don't know how to do that so I'm asking you to fix the crafting issues other mods for DOS fixed for us in the past.

I wish I could see this mod updated for DOS EE

The feature I like this most is the Barrel Shield mod and the reverse engineering for crafting cloth and leather scraps out of clothing and leather armor + knife. These changes provide immersion and logic overall.

I hope someone can help me and create this mod.

Not being able to fix the crafting is probably the most frustrating thing about Enhanced Edition so far.

I would love to be able to easily modify the crafting in this game, I think a lot of things could be improved -- not for balancing, but just to enhance it. Here's some of my ideas:

Folded Shirts + Needle = Cloth Scraps
Vial + Vial = Vial Rack
Vial Rack + Potion = Potion Level Up
Any Basket + Any Knife = Rope
Globe + Lab Junk = Sextant

Some other items like Inert Stone and Tube aren't used for anything at the moment either. Also, Tusk + Pixie Dust makes a Magic Tooth instead of a Magic Tusk (but it still uses the icon of a Magic Tusk). Pixie Dust + Chicken Foot as well doesn't correctly say Magic Chicken Foot.

There are two Empty Bottle items that can't be used for anything -- they should be added to the list of items that combined with a Hammer yield a Broken Bottle.

It'd be really awesome if they added this functionality to the editor to allow me to easily make such adjustments instead of having to extract PAK files and edit ItemCombos files, especially since the changes I want to make, a lot of them, involve items that I would have to manually look up.

I have a standalone crafting mod on my Scales download page (Super Extended Crafting, see my signature) which is just recipes. Some are my recipes, most are by Naetell. I don't consider some of the enchantments very balanced, so I'm integrating and rebalancing some recipes for Scales proper, but this is here for now. Doesn't have all the recipes you've suggested, but some similar stuff. I haven't really detailed out every recipe, so you'll have to look through the code itself, but it should be pretty obvious for the most part. I forgot to add the new categories for the wand and cloth helmet stuff with the optional file, but it's part of Scales if you use that. There's also instructions on my Scales page in one of the comments on how to add the proper categories (pretty fast.)

You don't have to extract the .pak files to get the stat files anymore. You can find them all at Editor/Templates/Stats/Shared.
