I'm beginning to mod this game what should I unpack with the exporter?

This depends entirely on what you want to mod. What are you making/doing?

But just starting fresh, my advice would be dont unpack anything until you run into something you can't do without it.

Unpack Shared.pak and Origins.pak to separate folders.

Use Agent Ransack to search for keywords in scripts and other plain text files to see how things are done.

I'm going to release a Python script later that deletes all of the binaries which improves search times. An SSD also helps a ton.

If you're not going to do any scripting, I don't think you need to unpack anything.

Thank you all for the replies. So I was trying to make class armors for each of the classes from the armors from the character creation, but I'm having trouble naming them since you can't do that in the stat editor and the materials manager doesn't have the all the armors. So yeah, I kinda am at a loss as how to rename said armors without doing it in the materials manager. Anyways, thank you for all of your patience with this ignorant newb.;).
