I'm trying to implement a custom weapon, and I'm following this guide: https://docs.larian.game/My_first:_Item_-_Weapons
However, it seems like the author might've had a granny exporter plugin in 3ds. When I export as dae, it spits out errors and I think those dummy boxes don't export properly. And then I convert to gr2 with the converterapp/pakextractor, it creates a dummy skeleton, which does work (crashes without it), however the weapons don't align correctly.
I've got custom models and textures working in DE2, however my second problem is they're also scaled wrong. I did set 3ds to use the example file's scaling, but after converting into DE2 they're still way too big.
Am I doing the right method? Am I doing it wrong? Or is there a plugin I haven't found?
