Hello,

Is there any way to tell what a charm will do before placing it? Also I'm a little confused about the name color of certain items. I found a helmet with a green name and it said "unique" in brackets, so I guess green is for unique items. I also found yellow and dark orange items. Anyone care to explain the color convention?

I am thoroughly enjoying the game, great job Larian.

In Divinity the item colour was just a rough classification of its quality. The scale from low to high was; white, grey, blue, green, yellow, gold.

I believe this is the same in Beyond Divinity, but have not been paying much attention to the colours. I have found a white unique item, as well as a couple which were green.

There have been a few changes from Divinity's charm system (see Locus Inn's Charm Guide).

from weakest to strongest;
Uru (green), Ser (blue), Min (red), Pag (silver), Yit (gold)

effects;
Umn - Vitality
Iceri - Mana
Ydra - Strength
Joph - Agility
Vorr - Constitution
Koor - Intelligence
Zand - Survival
Ook - Regeneration
Ustr - Evasion
Isos - Durability

What do you mean by the item's quality? The higher the quality the better the item's statistics in general?

Yes, that is what I meant. White named items are basic, low level items with usually no bonuses. The name colour gives a rough idea of how good an item is.

Cool, thanks, one more question;
*mini spoiler*
After you fall into that hole in the arena, is there any way to get back up?

Yes, at a later stage you can get back via the locked door.
