Hello!

Recently I've been having an odd issue with distant light probes. They always seem to revert to unrendered anytime I reload a level or restart the engine, having to re-render it every time. This hasn't usually been the case, but has began happening ever since I reinstalled windows. This happens on old levels as well as new ones. If I'd create a new basic template right now, place an atmosphere trigger and a rock, render the probe and save, the shadow of the rock will always be pitch black the first time I load into the level.

Anyone got any ideas or solutions to fix this?

Hi!

Do you see any error messages on saving?
This can happen if your install location name is too long. Lightprobe file names are relatively long and with an install location multiple folders deep, the path name can sometimes be too long to save the file. (Windows has an inherent limit to file path size).

I've already checked this, and the total path incl. light probe is 216 characters.
