I love playing custom characters in games like DOS2, but there is a problem that arises when companion quests get involved. Each time that I complete one I am left feeling that my character and their actions were thrown to the side and completely forgotten, which makes role-playing quite stressful in the long run for those of us who are obsessed with lore and storytelling. I feel like there needs to be more interaction between custom characters and NPC'S in these quests and this issue is also present in the main quest line. I would be very glad if the current form of Role-playing can be kept while simultaniosly improving player experience. Though I would understand if this is shot down due to the large amount of work that adding backstory and plothole fixes takes.

What exactly were you expecting?

You're the one who decided to pick a character with No Story as your avatar.

I understand your point , but I have a lot of unanswered questions that can't be solved with speculation and they could have at least given custom characters more involvement if you get what I'm saying.
