Hi. Just wondering if we have any confirmation on that.

I would love if they really go in this route and add all classes/races/subclasses for players. And, of course, most spells (the ones that make sense on a videogame at least)

And as a stretch, I would LOVE to be able to play as a creature from monster's manual, such as Giants. I always played as a monster on tabletop rpg smile

I imagine all the base classes from the Player's Handbook will ultimately be included. The real question is what sub-classes will make it in, they're spread over a few books now, as 5e has been around for five years.

Well so far they have included a Githyanki and Tiefling subraces which come from Tome of Foes and Half Drow which comes from the Swordcoast Adventurer's guide so we already know they aren't just sticking to the PHB for races.

Same. My first 5e character was an Arch-Fey Warlock/Lore Bard, and I would very much like to recreate that.

I think it's safe to say that, as D&D players, we want the closest experience we can get to that on a game.

I hope they don't disappoint. I remember playing Sword Coast Legends, and while a fun game, boy it lacked D&D content!!

Well, dragonborns in D&D are more like dwarves with a lizard head, they have no tail. The lizards in DoS2 are more like the lizardfolk race. But yeah, Dragonborns are a core race in 5e, so I´m pretty sure they will be in the game.

Dragonborns.

It would be a little strange if you do not have hexblade warlocks or Enchanter wizards, and maybe arcane archers; I hope they add those too.

I know, but at least they have some skills in making assets of dragon like humanoids. I wouldn't have used dwarves though to describe dragonborns. They are among the tallest playable races so more like half orcs with dragon heads, claws and scales.

Honestly not even WOTC knows or cares what Dragonborn look like.

The Descent into Avernus campaign has one with a tail.
The original Dragonbron design worked for those people that designed them, but later artists got confused by the proportions and represented them as dwarves only overiszed with a big crock mouth and dreadlocks.

5e basically forgot anything about the Ecology of the Dragonborn article anyway and i think at this point they just mean "play dragon people" and not somehting with a clear aesthetic.
For example 5e basically confirms the much regurgitated headcanon that dragonborn have the skin colour of their breath attack, when they are all supposed to be roughly brownish coloured.

I liked that in 4e, they were a race of their own rather than just dragon people. But 5e tends to forget about stuff like that.

The one in Averus was a special Dragonborn that belongs to Joe Manganiello

Here are some tweets in Sage Advice that explains.
