Is there anyway to get out of the temple after getting down to level 6?

It's been a few days since I did that part but I think I used my teleport stones. I always keep one in a safe place that I can go back to in case of problems. Also, can't you just walk back up the stairs the way you came in?

Catacombs? No, this is linear, you will get to Act 4 this way.
Crypt? Yes, after you have solved the Necro task 5.
