One of the Raanaar Quests in the Crystal Forest is to find a traitor who was led astray or something by an evil warlock. The raanaar Rebel said he would show me where the cave was but I can't find a flag or anything on my automap. Could someone tell me where it is?

Serrick's tower

It's north east of the Raanaar base, from the far right of the base go up until you can go right further. It's in the place where you will randomly teleport, so explore north, and you will find Serricks Tower, although you will need to read the billboard outside the Keeper of Ranks in the black ring town, to get in.

Here, the Black Ring town is Temple island. It's quite a way NW of Serrick.

hmm ok i am in the temple now, is the billboard is the one just near the entrance of the town ?

Where it says that u can search for an artefact and checj ure rank ect.... ?

Correct. Number 9 on the map shows the billboard - and if you click on it several times you will once see a message about a mage/warlock in the vicinity looking for help => that's pointed at Serrick. And if you talk to the guard there, in front of the tower, you have the speech option to say, you're coming from the Temple => guard opens tower.

yes, take the mirror out of Anbuklar's grave (number 21 on this pic) - then place it in front of the church doors - as this is one of the locations the stone shows. then go back to the stone, click on it. It will stop at the church pic - quest is solved.

This manuscript explains a bit about the mirror. It's in clear writing, not in Raanaar, as I took it with me to Act 4, where I could read it properly. But it is not so difficult in Raanaar either. and as you see, Anbuklar is the author of these lines - the same one, where you get the mirror from (grave).

Now i have to enter to the church but i have to gain ranks, but the problem is that i have completed some quest in the temple area before i spoke to the man who inscribe me to the rank competition

Nope, but I'm sure you'll manage it, you just need a bit more than 10000 ranking XP - and if you had made all quests, you would have had 25000, so, there is enough space. Please, look, which ones you can still fulfill.

No, only a few are on the billboard - please look at the list in a few minutes, I will add the locations.

Teleporter: Serrick told you to fix it, right? And you're on this island with the strange teleportations? In the west area is an Earth Elemental King, he has the missing piece, you must put into the broken teleporter.

number 5 is the king, and number 6 is the broken teleporter on Hellfighter's map

Hello Kiya!! Please, help me to solve the Raanaar Traitor Task! When I speak with raanaar traitor don't get to do him swear an oath not to reveal the Raanaar magic to anyone... I already spoke with Raanaar Elder... he already gave all quest for me... perhaps be this... I complete the Red Dragon’s Bane Sword quest before the Traitor quest... and a bug can have disable the traitor quest... what I do?!?!? ... I heard that deleting some files inside the savegame folder maybe correct this bug... or don't have solution... will have back to the savegame before the all quests of Raanaar Camp?!?! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> please, save me, powerful witch!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/xmassmiley.gif" alt="" /> merry christmas!

Do you have the patch installed? If so, did you install it either before starting the game, or before entering act 3?

What does the Raanaar say when you talk to him? Does your quest log say you have gotten a quest to kill him?

Did you go back and talk to the Raanaar rebel who gave you the quest? If so, does he ask if you have taken care of him yet?

I reloaded a save in the Raanaar camp, went and completed the sword and gem quest, and had no problems afterwards finishing the quest to deal with the 'traitor' (or retrieving the statue buried just outside the south east corner of the temple complex).


Deleting files in the save folder will not help, but if nothing else does it may be possible to temporarily swap in files from a working save to finish the quest in your game. If you email me your zipped save I can take a look at it. My email address is in my profile, or check your PM (click 'My Home' in the top menu bar, then 'Received Private Messages').

This is a fairly minor quest, so if you decide to skip it you will not miss anything, other than a bit of experience.
