Open the following files in order.

1/ Program files,
2/ Larian studios,
3/ Beyond divinity,
4/ Common,

5/ Open charselstats using wordpad,

6/ You can now change your opening stats by changing each of the numbers after the stats to a number between 0 and 99,

7/ Save and exit,

now when you start a new game all your base stats will be at the number you set them at with the number of free points you set to spend.

Ah - nothing like playing an already fairly easy game (thanks to the patches making cash almost infinite) with a super character - thanks for the tip <yawn>.

Lol in that case dont use them but if you read the threads you should know a lot of people seem to have problems, this is for those that need it. At least i am trying to help those in trouble rather than criticizing those trying to help.

I have to agree with ariana that the game is easy enough as it is.
Still I had to see what was in that directory and I found a much more interesting file to fiddle with.

All the books in the game are now in Raanaar <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

If you agree with Ariana and the game is easy enough as it is why do you need to alter another file to help you ?.

Ah i see hehe, sorry slightly drunk at the mo so probally not being as friendly in replys as i should be sorry all.

Uhm Basher read what I've done again.
If the game doesn't crash when I put the altered file in place then every single book in the game will be in the raanaar runes not the normal alphabet.
I've a hard time seeing how that makes the game easier.
And I'm probably going to make it worse by trying to alter another file in that dir in such a way that the average mob harder to deal with. Just hope there is an entry in that file for mob speed & resistance to stun/paralyse/slow.
