hmm i like the idea of incorporating true ranger abilities.... mounted fighting sounds very very good <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

Ranger - mouted combat: I don't immediately make the connection.

I generally like the idea of helpful creatures. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> And a horse would be good, too, I think. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

When you find a big kettle of crazy, it's best not to stir it.

A horse would be great, but it's not a must.

I take it that also implies 'no way José', or something in that general direction? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

maybe I just want to get my post count up <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/silly.gif" alt="" />

anyway, let me say this:

as a Larian employee and a forum member, I browse through all your suggestions almost daily, and I really enjoy them. In what amount they are inspiring or if they, in any way, determine the direction the game is going, I cannot say (trying to be political here, hope you understand)

So keep the suggestions coming. We, the design team, are not without ideas of our own, but this friendly and creative community has been (and will be again!) a great help for the development of Divinity games.

come up with wild things! Think out of the box! Imagine the things you've never seen before in games and try to fit them into the Divinity world.

Over and out, and always stalking these forums,

We know larian pays a lot of attention to its fans, but it's still great to hear just how much this is actually appreciated.
Cheers Wazzz <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif" alt="" /> We'll keep doing our best, we know you and the other Larians are! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/kitty.gif" alt="" />

I hope you've seen the poll about an editor in Divinity 2. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/silly.gif" alt="" />

I guess it'd be really fun to interact with helpful creatures although this shouldn't get out of hand! I mean: it's true they should've various levels of intelligence but if they get TOO intelligent or smarty-pants, then the various animal groups and hierachies might become rather inbalanced. Imagine a group of unicorns trying to challenge the authorities of of their own species which in turn causes conflicts with other species(sentient or non-sentient).

Also, although this sounds fun: I wonder if it adds complexity to various issues 'cos having friendly creatures can also put them in conflict with others(animals, beings, humans, etc.). Unless it truly has a great effect on the gameworld, I'm all for them being almost non-sentient.

Although it'd be really neat to have a pet whom you could even turn into a familiar or aid.
