Hope people post

Well SandViper,
if you want to see a party, you have to be at @Vipers's place <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

On the old forum, there was this guy who colected everything, and used the items to decorate his houses

i know also someone who colected all the big "bosses" like the orc warchief, etc and even the demon of lies!
my boss collection -> this link probably doesn't work anymore

I stayed in Joram's house for the first part of the game, then moved to the back of the council hall minor spoiler to take advantage of the health and mana shrines while they lasted. This was completely unnecessary, since I ended the game with 1800 restoration potions (1150 minor, 650 regular) that I found/made/bought while trading and stuck in a chest for later. (highlight the text to read). My stuff was getting cluttered, so I expanded my storage system when I moved.

Raze, that is more of a home warehouse. Were all the chest full?

Chest contents, top to bottom;

far left column;
[*] un-required quest items or special items (Janus' toy dragon, the Eye of the Cyclops I bought back from the head of the warrior's guild, etc)
[*] charms
[*] charms and statuettes
[*] food (meat/bread/chicken: not effective enough to use, but didn't want to throw out), poison barrels

left;
[*] quest items, gold
[*] backup equipment I might switch back to, or stuff I might eventually use (ie the Dragon Shield while I was using a two handed sword)
[*] empty
[*] potions, equipment with spell bonuses (Pickpocket, Repair, Identify, Traders Tongue) that I would occasionally need

right;
[*] valuable weapons to be repaired before selling
[*] valuable armour to be repaired before selling
[*] repaired equipment to be sold
[*] broken equipment, potions, traps, etc ready to be sold

by the shrines
[*] The two outside chests were empty. That style only weighs 200, and I used one to steal before getting the book from the thieves' guild (I didn't think to use a sack of grain, with a weight of 100)
[*] The inside chest was usually empty, but I would dump stuff there I didn't want to sort out at the time.

Man, i with my evil dude, i actually could be bothered to goto the cursed abbey and cleared it out, took away all the rubbish and unsightly hings <barrels, rotten food, boxes etc>

And made myself <Sand's Abbey>

I gotta upload a screenie of all the sections. I went around the divine world and collected all the food i could find for my kitchen. Redisigned my bedrooms.
Had non essential quest items and suuper powerfull items on the alter.

Then over 80+ chests full of good items on the lower lvls.

I also went to everyplace i could think of that had books and manuscripts, and actually got too many to fill up all the book cases. Also got lots of nice clothes for the wardrobes. To see it all would take 20+ screenies

Even though the thread is ancient now, I loved reading about SandViper's ingame wardrobe. I collected armor, too, and pieced them together into styles (i.e. "Armor for wood elves", "Armor for classic greek hero", "Armor for a water priest", "Armor for the noble class", "Armor for axe-crazy murderer" and so on. Interesting to read Raze's inventory of chests, too. smile

Since there isn't a more appropriate place for this, here are my favorite houses:

- Shop in Aleroth
- Abandoned bar
- Timmy's house
- House you can buy in Verdistis (no kitchen, here's a self-built fireplace)
- Hermit's house in the Dark Forest (again with bushcraft cooking)
- Wasteland house
- Portable home from a sack of grain
- Portable home from the thief book

Then there's also the abandoned houses in Aleroth or Jeremia's hut (which I skipped in this playthrough), and for a while I used to sleep in a blue vase (200 weight) behind Blake's shop, which had a nice "I Dream of Jeannie"-vibe.

I also found that the house in Verdistis where Goemoe was held hostage by the evil mage was suitable (if you don't mind skull lamps, big basement), as well as Boratus' house in the dark forest (again, big basement, minor wolf howling). Interestingly, the wasteland of all places offers one of the most fully furnished and complete houses you could wish for throughout the game, and since it seems that there is one of each item of the game strewn across the destroyed village close by, I was able to recreate my preivous home almost perfectly, after coming there with nothing but the Koram books.
