I hated wasting a skill on pickpocket. then I started finding items with pickpocket on them WooHoo! Does anyone know if you get any good stuff if you put enough skill points into pickpocket and just try it on everyone? Or is that my next mission in the game?

As you can trade with nearly every one, I guess you get what's in his inventory.

What about Heaven's gift? never tried it out by myself, but higher lvls are supposed to give, potions and charms = money <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

That's the thing that bugs me about pickpocket; the only point in doing it is getting stuff they wouldn't trade, like the sword on a guard, and since you can't take those, it doesn't do anything useful for you besides that one quest.

As for Heaven's Gift, it's not really that hot. Mostly, you get money and potions, even at level 5; the potions are ok in that you can suck 'em down to keep casting Heaven's Gift, so yes, if you're very bored and don't mind clicking the right mouse button while watching TV for a while, you can make a mint in gold and sellable potions. But treadmilling off of profitable monsters would do that much better.

(For those of you unfamiliar with the ressurrect bug and good monsters who drop treasure, like Imp Captains, try it out sometime).

Divinity Skills: A single point in Divine Death is enough to drop an Imp Captain in his tracks. That alone is worth the point; they're quite dangerous.

You will rue the day you opposed me! Begin your rueing! I'll just... sit over here... and watch.

Imp captains: Hellspikes lvl 5, weren't dangerous in my case... And they really drop good things, I agree - but that's in the end part of the game...

One point in divine death means these will drop dead in one click, at the cost of 20 mana: stone gargoyles/guardians, imps, imp chieftains, to name but a few. I don't know about you, but other spells that will kill these critters require more than one click and usually more than 20 mana. So yeah...

Without lockpick you can´t finish some quests but it is not essential. I know some people who finished the game without a point in lockpick... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Identify is my only must-have skill. <Weapon> Expertise is almost must-have, but not quite. Stun is very effective as well, especially as a Warrior surrounded by enemies. One Whirlwind Attack and half of them are stunned!

Burning wall is broken. (Broken as in 'ridiculously powerful'.) I kill most things using that now. You need it at a decent level for it to be awesome (need the duration), but awesome it will become. It's especially good for hordes.
