I just got BD today and I was wondering if a 2 warrior party is a good idea. Second, which stats should I focus on for each character and at which levels (example: points to str and con for one level then survival and agility the next). Thanks very much.

1)
It make the end a tad tougher but why not.
2)
Depends completely on how you play but since you are planning to go melee going to give only a rough outline to get at the end.
I'd say about
1 point/level in consitution.
1.5 pts/level in strength, a bit more if you can't get decent items to use the highest str weapons/armor a bit less if you plan to use the agility based weapons.
1 point/level agility (bit more if you go for the agility based weapons).
Then spend the remaining points as you see fit.

I don't remember who posted it, but they said to go with a few points into str/con and then a few points into agi/survival the next level. Can anyone else comment on this? Also, what do you mean by 1.5 points?

My advice would be to just experiment a bit. You'll find your own preferred playing style and the stats that go with it. Be it mage, warrior or rogue with any combination of weapons, spells and skills. The sheer possibilities in building a character makes it hard to dictate a division of points. For example, a 2-h sword wielding deathknight, serving as a tank character, would be focusing on strength and con mostly, then speed and agility (to be able to get a hit in when attacked by groups and to use sharpened weapons, respectively.) That's a pretty powerful combo with enough skillpoints spent on the 2-handed slashin skill.

I did 2 warriors at first, but I found taking out some monsters to be a royal pain. (Damn Skeleton Mages, Blood Knights)

Now i'm doing Hero Warrior, and Death Knight Survivor, since the Death Knight gets natural AC and can't equip any real armor anyway.

Also, hello all. First post. :P

BTW, if magic is not too puny for you => Shaman Magic Hammer spell kills Blood knights in 3 goes => low bone resistance

That would require managing way too many stats. :P

My hero, being a warrior, is doing mainly strength and agility, some constitution, and survival very rarely.

Deathknight gets a lot of agility, just enough strength to use any bows, and survival. I haven't increased his constitution, but i gave him the Holy Book in the first act.

For skills, i gave the hero two handed specialties, mainly accuracy, critical hits, and death blow, since i find those more useful then increasing the damage skill. Also gave him the Sharpen skill. Had no idea how useful that would be. :P

Deathknight gets bow specialties, lots of reload time and crit hits. I also gave him Detect Traps, so i can tell when to send my red shirt-- i mean summoned doll in to "defuse" them. :X I also intend to give him Convert Arrows.

So, your DK is similar to my char => bow, but I'm building her up as a mage archer. My DK is 2-hander (same skills as you)+ detect traps.

I DO have another game where the DK is a two-handed crushing user, and my main char is a mage, but damn, those spells take a lot of mana. Just that first guard drained my mana reserves right out. smirk

Ah, no, my archer started to build up magic/int first in act 2 a bit. She doesn't have much, just 580 mana - but a hammer lvl 2 (180 mana) is enough to stun enemies and let the DK finish them. I will go up to lvl 4/5 (209 mana) that's sufficient.

Right now, she's in Act 3, kills BK at 3 spells and cleaned the whole Temple island outskirts on her own - in single sneak, hit&run mode.

Ah well... I've always been a favorite of running up to things and beating them down, not being sneaky. :P

Thanks for the replies. I'm playing on Tactical and it's pretty difficult. Should I put it on action? And what skills do I want to get for a survivor right off the bat? Thanks again!
