OP kls70 stranger K Joined: Jun 2003	I had been wondering this for the whole game. How come the death knigth can't talk to reguler people? He can only directly talk to people that can directly hear his thoughts it seems. Like the necromancer,samual, etc. The other death Knight can talk to people why cant he?

kiya veteran Joined: Mar 2003 Location: Germany	IIRC a DK is a summoned creature, only under command of a witch. So, he can't talk. He obeys orders - normally only from his mistress. Why should he chat then? Are you sure, the other DK (in Act 3?) is talking? And not the human? And the hostile DK's words are only telepathy your char can hear, cause he is soulforged to your own DK? He was tortured and ended up with no voice... It might be that other DK's werent tortured by Sameul. Your existence alone, is excuse enough for the creation of the entire universe… Il you my darling Jeanne-Dré 

But lo and behold, your character (the hero) can communicate with the DK telepathically. And he/she is the only character that can 'hear' him. (Other than the one who summoned him).
