Personally, I'd vote for Kerry, but I'm not old enough to vote... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/disagree.gif" alt="" />

I sense a lot of hostility today and it's all coming from my country. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" />

John kerry is french, he will support the french more than americans, and don't we all hate the back stabbing french...

I wonder why idd, honestly there must so much ignorance, how do some more "globally educated" americans keep putting up with it.

Anyway, it's a good thing they vote more today, but will they vote their opinion or just that of the horde?

That was for a laugh sveltje! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

However, I personally feel that this will be the most important election of the last 10 years all over the world. The USA have set an example in the last 4 years that was at least questionable.

To all american friends. Hope you voted, cause the only thing unexcusable would be to deny your personal rights in a time, where personal rights are denied.

Nowhere in democracy does it say that you need to have only two parties...indeed the restiction of these two is i feel killing democracy.

Switzerland i think is the most democratic state becuase i think they have refferendums all the time(i think, cant be too sure)

If your superstitous Kerry will win-

44 years ago John F Kennedy was voted in and this is the 44th preisdency and John F Kerry has the same intials.

Both have eaten at the same resturant on the day of the election.

Somethng about an American football team losing just prior to elections and so the challenger will win(which has happened for the last 40 years)...or something to that effect.

One thing i will say for Bush- Hes smart becuase hes good at reading people...their body language e.t.c.

He is not smart academic wise or streetwise but comes across as a "strong leader" which is funny becuase he is not phyiscally threatening like say Bruce Willis or Arnie but becuase he smiles alot and is good for PR he can pull it off.

look at Washington DC... http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2004/pages/results/states/DC/P/00/index.html Bush 9% Kerry 90% At least these figures do relate "more" to the rest of the world. As many surveys showed 1/5 world citizens doesn't want Bush to be re-elected.

Darn rednecks the world goes beyond the borders of the US...

Looks like it could be a bush victory - though some legal wrangling is on the cards. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/memad.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/memad.gif" alt="" />

I can't believe the asurbity of the vast amount of middle america hick states voting 70% in favour of bush. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ouch.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/suspicion.gif" alt="" />

Given the amount of control america tries to excert and the rest of the world, and given that the president is called the 'leader of the free world' I think we ALL should be allowed to vote. By all I mean us europeans, then you'll have a landslide victory for kerry. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/memad.gif" alt="" />

i may have misunderstood but it seems from after the CNN source above that Idaho has reelected Republican Senator Crapo with 99% <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" /> so it may be not really amazing that Bush should obtain 70% there...

are you so sure Plowk... if you have a look to the European Comission members...

I'd welcome them... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />
