Thread of German WOW members, there you can find several names of this forum.

Buit I don't know whether it is languaqge-specific where you play or not. You could ask around, though.

the scarshield legeon realm is a very peacefull one, I have a chance of getting in one of the server's most famous RP-guilds "The Crimson Eagle"

Then what are you waiting for? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
Though many guilds might fall apart with the coming of TBC!

bleh, been in it, there's no real place for Roleplaying in WoW, there are good attempts like on Steamwheedle Cartel. Anyway If you want to roleplay don't go into WoW, "roleplaying"-servers are crammed with ppl who don't have a clue what RP is about, and those who know and do roleplay are arguing all the time about what is good and bad roleplaying.

LOL Drag that sounds just like the Pen & Paper RP-ing that I used to do ... here's a little something from that era .....
************************************************************************

I pray in most cases to Mystra, that the evening be a success, that I would
be able to keep up with the rest of the people, that life would be as
simplistic as a rule book and that when I arrive at the DM/GM's place
there'd be enough room to put down my character sheet and that the new dice
that I bought this week are better than the dice I bought last week and hope
that there isn't some one in the game who says " I gotta be home early
tonite" as early always seem to happen when the main fight/battle starts,
and that the Halfling in the party doesn't run of to do something incredibly
stoopid " like sitting in the chief vampire's chair and playing with the
chief vampired wand,
and hope to Mystra that someone doesn't utter the question " hey have you
ever heard of <insert enemy name> to the local thief's guild master or that
the cleric in the party doesn't revert to a different God in the middle of
play,
and that the curious Ranger doesn't say " hey, I wonder what this does, and
proceeds to push a button/lever at random and that the berserker in the
party knows when to stop AFTER the enemies are dead, and yes that that one
guy who knows always better than the GM/DM and can quote the rules backwards
while crawling over broken glass on his bare knees has a permanent case of
laryngitis and that when I role the dice for a really spectacular event they
come up high, not when I'm doing something mundane when it matters not much.

And hopefully no one has brought seafood dip for the pringles. ( as I'm
allergic to seafood )
And that I finally go up a level and that my miserable HP's increase and
that the wand I find is one of "usefulness", not as in " you find a chest,
it is locked with a dwarven tooled lock skill level extremely difficult and
you roll the best dice you've ever rolled and bingo the chest opens, inside
you find a wand, after a improved Identify spell it turns out to be a wand
of coloring" (sic)
and that the players come to play the game, not to discuss the weekly social
calendar for an hour or so.
That ..... dear Mystra is all I expect from you on my gaming nights and as
such I shall pray more often research more often and tell the world what a
great Mystress you are.
With abject humility
I remain

a month ago i begun to play my first Role playing game Pen and paper.
i like it!
but it is so funny that all the players are so different in playing styles, and of different interests,
the one will bash everything whit out asking questions
the other wants to explore the world in peace...
exemple, the quest begins in a tavern>
the DM had a idea of a quest, but before he could give such a quest,
we already started a fight in the tavern. smashed up the bar , and stolen some beer from a mage 9we didn't know that by then).
after getting beaten up by that mage, a new quest was born,
help the mage on some item hunt or die here <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />
