Is it me, or is there just little exciting things on E3 for the RPG fan? maybe we're missing Larian?

What is E3. And do you mean not much to be exited about or little exitement?

i am sad to see hellgate: london is in first-person view. knowing my nausea, this one i have to pass.

borrowed a friend's dungeon siege: legend of arrana, at first it was good but later on it got so boring that instead of fun, it was a chore finishing the game. mayeb it's meant for multiplayer as there is very little interaction other than hack & slash. never mind DS2.

Some people like Hack-n-Slash games.
I know many individuals, not here, that loved the Icewind Dale games.
I personally thought they were just okay.
Others Rave about how good Planescape Torment is and I admit it is a well made game, but I did not like it; because, I don't like playing games where you have to guess out of the thin air to solve something. I can't stand games where you need a walkthrough created by one of the game creators in order to find out what you need to do next because they never gave you any clues in the game.

Yes, it comes to personal preferences.
For one I found Divine Divinity very enjoyable and loads of fun, but Beyond Divinity was one of the most absolutely mind numbing boring games I've ever forced myself to play in my entire life. Many said it got better later, but to me it simply got even more boring.

My point, you should not judge one game based upon another.
Try a demo and then decide.

I never needed a walkthrough for PST.
*gives you a funny look*

I usually don't go around killing everything I see or I try to avoid killing things if I don't have to, so in considering that how would you have figured out in getting the wooden head guys head back?
You wouldn't have.

How would you have known you needed higher WIS and INT as a mage to get Dak'kon's circles open?
You wouldn't have.

These are only a couple of situations out of many that I can name.

I wasn't talking about finishing the game.
I was talking about some of the individual quests that had nothing to do with finishing the game.
I do not like games that do not give some sort of real clue to figuring out a quest. PS:T is riddled with either no clues or out of the blue abstract clues.
