Right, im getting sick of this.

People keep telling me the locations of places by marking it on my map.
How the FRIG do i look at my map?

Sure i use the mini-map, but that gives me no clues, certainly i have never noticed anything new after a conversation.

Right now they want me to blow up the supply train.. how do i know where to go?


Also, i have killed everyone in the camp after they got mind controlled.
Should i have:

a, Ran out because later they are freed on the control
b, Kill em all for the XP

BUT also i was told to go their for supplies... i have found nothing after killing everything, what gives?.

If you know how to open your quest list then you know how to get to the map. Your map should be one of the tabs in your diary.



i suggest killing them. get all the XP that you can. i don't think that they change back later so killing them is the only option to ease their pain.

Being a RPG vet + the manual being on CD i have just dived into the game.. guessing i am still missing a few tricks.

Ah yea.. wheres the "sleep" or "rest" button.

Do i really have to seek out a bed every time?

The mind controlled soldiers will eventually revert to normal (after you meet one of the 3 who cast the spell), but you do not get any experience points that way.

Go check out the billboard by the castle stormfist entrance, if you haven't done so since entering that camp.

Hit the A key to bring up the automap directly, then zoom out to spot flagged locations easier.
From the manual;

Keyboard Shortcuts

SPACE	Pause/Unpause the game
CTRL	Target closest enemy to mouse cursor.
CTRL	When dragging multiple objects from your inventory in the world and releasing the mouse cursor while holding CTRL pressed, split up the objects.
SHIFT	When holding shift and moving the mouse cursor to the side of the screen, you can scroll away from your player character. Release shift to jump back to your player character.
ALT	Show object boxes describing interesting objects in the environment
R	Toggles auto-run mode on/off. When toggled on, a left mouse click causes your character to run towards the designated point instead of walking to it.
C	Toggles combat mode on/off. draw your weapon (if you have none, show your fists) or put down your weapons
M	Toggle mini map Open the inventory (back pack)
E	Open the equipment plate
T	Open the player statistics plate
CTRL+L	Quick load
CTRL+S	Quick save
L	Open the "Load Game" screen
S	Open the "Save Game" screen
ESC	Back to main menu
Q	Open the quest log (diary)
A	Open the auto map (diary)
