Quick description of what a cross over will look like:
If you view the cable plug so that the 8 little pin connecters is on top and facing away from you... in otherwords the cable is comming from you, and ending away from you, and you looking at the pin side.
point 1 (according to model A calbes)

If you will only use 100mbit the only cables that HAS to be correct is 1,2,3,6. (the rest are only used when you go 1000 mbit.
Point 2 (according to a model A calble)
The only thing that change around is 3 and 6

When you crimp those plugs, make sure that you have some of the cable's outer cover over the bar that it crimps it with, otherwise the calbe tends to pull out of the plug in a short while.
