If no, it's no DD, but it's a very good story driven mmorpg, it portrays Tolkiens fantasy world unbelievably good! And in the end, 1 mmorpg can keep you busy for months, so it's cheaper than the retail games you would buy instead in the period

I played the beta and for the first time i really thought about buying a mmorpg, at the end i didnt couse i wouldnt do anything for school anymore then

Anyway, the unfinished game was very enjoyable, so i guess the final game is even better

Both DeathKnight and Wazzz are currently playing in LOTRO, on the EN-Laurelin RP server.

But since you don't know our character's names, there's little chance we run into eachother and know

Is it a good game? Better then for instance WoW.
I've only read about this game, and I don't like the fact you can only play the good guys

It would have been great to play an orc, uruk hai, goblin or man from the west or smth

You can play as orc or uruk hai, only in pvp tho (pvmp). If you're a LOTR fan this game will be better than WoW. You really feel as you are a part of the world of Tolkien.

the bad guys you can play with are rather limited,

Orcs,
Uruk Hai,
Wargs,
And Spiders

But the system is quite interesting, the "pvp-arena" is also the area where the highest lvl'ed characters have quests; "Angmar", so you are a monster (mob) and you're only goal is to eat hobbits no, it's beeing a pain in the arses of players that roam Angmar.

How is the pveing in lotr online?
Do you feel like you're hack and slashing all the time, or constantly using the same 1 or 2 skills?
Or is one character class immensly preferred over other ones?

all is pretty well balanced imo.

And youve got lots of different skills to use, you can use the same 2-3 skills all the time, but then youre being pretty dumb. you got to deliver long lasting skill damage and direct damage and do this the right way to really be good.

This is my experience from the beta, i guess it should all be even better atm

No class is preferred to another, they combine perfectly, I've played 4 classes now and none of them is any beter than another at playing solo. In duelling this is a whole other case but the classes aren't designed for pvp anyway. If you know how to play a class, you shouldn't get in trouble where someone else doesn't. The class balancing really shows its glory in Fellowships (groups)
