Unless you speak German, yes. The German section of the forum is always incredibly busy. The English speaking section - not so much.

Cool people when they are around, though smile

The German speaking section isn't as busy anymore as it way several years ago.

I don't understand why there's no-one coming over from the Divinity game sections to the Chat sections ... confused

Yeah, it's weird. I thought the same thing you did, Nero. Makes sense that all those new people will want to talk about other stuff, like games in general, and that they'd head down to the chat section...

I admit to being pretty puzzled by the lack of buzzing...

Maybe they're already active on other fora?

I think everyone is active on multiple fora, Isorun. I know I am and I'd be stunned if everyone else here wasn't, too. I think once someone gets the 'forum bug' it becomes kind of inevitable smile

I'm only 'active' here :p. I don't now why but I never really found it worth it to participate on other fora were they either all seem to be one tight bunch who have known each other for ages, or were it is common to insult each other and use leetspeak.

I just check the forums here once in a while, to keep me informed about Larian's activities while waiting for a new pc which can handle Divinity 2.

I understand there are great communities out there, but joining those people feels kinda like invading. I know, silly me :p!

You just need to find a welcoming community, Isorun. They are definitely out there, though rare, I agree.

I, for one, am only active at this forum. I've been surprised, I guess, by lack of "replies" to my posts. Maybe I just don't have that much to offer.

Anyway, keep looking around here, and checking, and adding. If nothing else, there's a wealth of information on the Divinity games! I'm an information "junkie." smile

~~CierraShore
p.s.
Maybe people are busy playing the games? And living a life?

rocka-,

Yes, I am an information "junkie," but a "dealer" pretty much only when asked *wink* and *bigsmile*
By being "active" on a forum, I mean the 'two-way' information cyberway, where I contribute my thoughts and/or what I've learned.

All best,
~~CierraShore

The only game I was playing for the last months was SWTOR ... Only recently I had bought "Rayman : Origins" ( not to mix with "Dragon Age : Origins" ! wink ) and it was huge fun for me ! smile

But now it's DOS ... smile

Well with the release of the new forum layout I figure I'd finally pop in the chat (anything) section. *Waves*

Liking the new layout so far, good job Larian!

Funny, I have seen the chat section here for ever but never even clicked on it before. It's like I just found a super secret hidden treasure. laugh

Me too and I'm a member since Divinity 2 laugh.

But I really have a feeling, that the forum got livelier since the releases of Dragon Commander and Original Sin, although Dragon Commander is also quite dead.
