Does anyone know the exact install size for D2 DKS for the xbox 360? I read that the D2 ED was about 6.0 gigs but I was wondering if this one will be bigger due to the new engine and added Flames of Vengeance.
D2:ED was 5.6GB installed on the Xbox; presumably DKS will be larger. At least with the PC version, someone commented after installing the D2:ED+FoV to DKS conversion patch that the install size dropped, put didn't give any numbers.
If it's any help, the PC version of DKS is 7.52GB - that's a full install (Steam) - I'm not running anything off a DVD (the 360 might run most of the game directly from the disk).
My DKS on Xbox (Europe version) has only a 4 MB store on the HDD ! Like Trippy said: probably most of the game plays directly from the disk. But I always install all my Xbox games on my HDD before I even start playing the game.

4MB?? Say what. Hes talking about the actual game size not the save file?+ Or do'ya mean 4GB.
Also Once you install it to the Hard Drive, it will play it off their not off the Disc, it only needs the disc to verify you have a Legit Copy.
Strange, but the info on the back of my Xbox box stay clearly : 4 MB(yes, megabite) game storage

I only have 7 gigs left on the hdd so hopefully I'll have room for DKS when it comes out. Currently got Crysis 2 installed and I may get Section 8 Prejudice when it comes out on the 20th.
Divine is right, that 4mb is the save file size and not the full install size. It usually doesn't say how much the install size is on the box.
I figure that Flames of Vengeance may be sharing a lot of the same data from Ego Draconis so maybe it won't be that big in addition to Ego.
Sorry, how stupid I could be ... I was indeed totally wrong ... The message on the back of the box confused me enormous ... but 4 MB is sooo little for a full game installed on HDD
