No. You can delay turning in the quest if you wish to use it, though.

Ok that was the last of my missions....the hall of echos awaits me again....though i might want to stock up on potions lol

If you want to stock up on potions, the quickest way to do so is to head to a small location first (like a house in High Hall, for example), to cut down on the loading time leaving the battle tower.

Raze's cuirass is terrible stat-wise, though. All it has going for it are the three enchantment slots, and that's not enough to make it worth using over things with better stats.

Also, you do not need to make every new post a Calendar event. That tag is only for well, special time-limited dates that need to be marked.
