I apologize profusely if this is already addressed.

My "ALT" key does not highlight items on the ground or anywhere else, is this a setting I need to toggle or another issue, is it just my confuser?

Seems to have recently started after latest patch, I noticed it.

Are you using the left Alt key? The right will not work (same for Ctrl), which should be fixed once the new input system is implemented.

Check the Controls section of the inventory, and reset the hotkeys to default.

Left or right makes a difference? Guilty as charged! I am using the right hand one...uh its closer to my wine glass.

Freaking cannot wait to get outta work so I can play tonight.

As a temporary workaround, Autohotkey can get the right Alt/Ctrl to function as the left ones.
