As the title says: It's time for a round three, hoping for completion with my city around January (With this one counted.) So let's hope for the best, will leave updates for once a week or so.

As it stands now I'm hoping to delve a bit more into the lighter parts of scripting and to poke around in the material editor.

I'm not yet sure how large of an area I'll need for this, but winging it often works out quite well. Aiming to have this be the temple / commons district. And with a proper, functional arena.

Started with drawing the basic outlines using anything at hand, the last project helped a ton with finding my way through the Engine and the index, but aiming to learn some scripting now, the simple but really useful one.

Aiming for around a month for this as well.

And here's some proof of my drawing talents. It's almost enough talent to draw up a thought board. Haha.

But by envisioning it simple blocks from North-West, like the old-school times, it makes it easier to sort and keep it sorted in your head. Hoping to make some fun stuff if possible in-between. Hoping.

Alrighty, so here is the first update. The basics of the project are quite simple, but this cathedral will be that major time sponge here I guess. I want it to be quite similiar to a real one after all.

Feels like I barely got a dent in it so far, but oh well :P

Hehe, thanks! It's ending up a bit of a pain as well, as all things should I suppose! smile

Okay, going to break the promise once and update with a picture of the cathedral. It's a really complicated build imo, however, it's turning out great. With it's very own bell tower which I'm hoping to make possible to get up in. The issue will be that you, as the player are so far up it would be impossible to not see the edges of the fog.

It isn't too bad, almost completed the cathedral now which is nice. Easily the most demanding structure there will be here.

Progress update: I've completed what I can of the cathedral now which is the vast majority of it, the rest I will need to finish after AI Pathing has been done. The overview of the map has changed a bit, the river's end in sight in a mountain lake. A warehouse has been done and the sketch of the estate followed as well as a major expanse of the area. This will lead to a functional and nice vision whilst ingame as the GM and as the Player.

There's some minor polishing that requires to be done but it isn't too far off.

Some day shots, mostly used this to experiment with lighting, and it was pretty awesome in the end.

And some in dark.

There's the speaker chair and some other angles.

More than welcome to, I'm just glad people enjoy what I make. Not really planned, also will upload it to the nexus if needed/requested.

Been a few days again, and it's time for an update. Nearing completion, perhaps a week away before release now.

It's been really fun playing around with lighting, learnt a ton as well.

Phew, that's some of it anyway. It's a big one, and more work needin' be done.

Aaaand... it's done, just the final small little polishing touches here and there and that's that. smile Painstaking and painstakingly fun it's been. The shadows inside the cathedral turned out perfect, exactly the way I wanted them. Just one image, the rest will come in 'finished projects'.
