Dear modders,
this Friday, we released the Definitive Edition of the Engine.
We hope you will enjoy creating Definitive mods!
But we've been alerted of 2 significant hindrances in importing classic projects:
1. Custom Resources and texture Atlases are not updated correctly:
Custom resources will point to the wrong file location. In their properties (which you can see when selecting them in the Resource Browser), the SourceFile property will still point to the old folder location. This property can be changed manually. We don't want you to have to do this for a lot of files though, so we are working hard at a fix that does this automatically for you on import.
Texture atlases have the same issue. But here, the property is hidden in the texture atlast (.lsx) file.
2. Certain Stats files may not open:
Certain stats files, depending on when you created them in Classic, do not convert correctly and don't open in the Definitive Editor. We are looking into this (thank you to those sending us their files so quickly).
If you are experiencing any of these issues. We advise to wait with importing until we release a fix.
