I just started the game and i enjoyed it

In Aleroth, when i lvld up my sword spec skill , it became not 1 lvl, but 2 lvl. So now i m lvl 2 warrior, with 2 points in sword spec, and ye, it requiers lvl 13 now for 3 lvl,

Is this a bug? How did i manage to have 2 points in swords while still being lvl 2 character?

I tried to make the same thing with axes, but was unable too.

What did i do to get this?

I reviewed my last characters, and they all have 2 points in swords and 2 points in overall mastery (dont remember the name) while still being below lvl 7.

But somehow i m unable to do this again :D All my new chars have appropriate 1 point in swords when i lvl it up.

What part did i miss or this is just a bug? Playing GOG version.

With one level of Sword Expertise or Augment Damage (the starting skills for the male warrior), saving and reloading will result in these skills being at level 2. Other classes and the female warrior can get this bonus, as well, but they need to put the first skill points in themselves.
This was the case since the original disk release, so if it is the result of a bug, it was never fixed.
