I have been excitedly waiting to install this on my 2010 Mac Pro for quite some time! I realized today that I can install on Mac so I did it straight away. Sadly, when I try to run the game, it crashes with an "Invalid Instruction" message. The specs of this machine are below:

Model: Mac Pro Mid 2010 (MacPro5,1)
CPU: 2x Intel Xeon X5690
RAM: 96GB DDR3 ECC 1333MHz
GPU: Radeon RX 580 8GB
OS: macOS Mojave 10.14.3

Any help would be great! I also have a 2018 MacBook Pro that I haven't tried it on yet. Hopefully it will work there.

All right. First of all we know about this issue. It's because the game uses AVX2 instructions, while XEON CPU does not support it. The fix with AVX instructions is planned for next week or so.

There is just one thing - will you be able to help us and work with developers to verify Mac Pro compatibility? If yes PM me and I will see so you will get access to beta versions at some point in future.

I have the same problem:

MacPro 5,1 (late 2010)
2.8 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon
32 GB 1066 MHz DDR3 ECC
AMD Radeon R9 280X 3072 MB
OS: High Sierra, 10.13.6

I copied the crash dump to Dropbox

Also, I'd be happy to help you test the new code; what will/would you need from me?

I have similar/same problem.

Model: MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Early 2013)
OS: macOS Mojave Edition 10.14.2
RAM: 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
CPU: 2.4 GHz Intel Core i7
GPU:NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 1024 MB
Intel HD Graphics 4000 1536 MB

The game will have a few seconds of black out and then return with a "Video System Warning," quoted "Nvidia graphics chips are not officially supported. Although you may not encounter any issues, we are unable to provide support for Nvidia related issues if you do."
After I pressed the OK button, the game sort of launch--still black out, and then crashed. Happens also to the D:OS (Classic), too, but not the D:OS(EE).

Here is the crash log for launching D:OS 2.

Thanks! I would be happy to help out developers too.
