Hi,

I'm trying to import my old GM campaign into Def Edition Engine. I'm using the GOG Version and have installed the Engine Editor as per the setup guide. The DefEd Data path set on the Engine is:
D:\GOG Galaxy Games\Divinity - Original Sin 2\DefEd\Data\

When I try to import the old MOD from the Classic MOD folder, I click on the folder of my MOD with the name:
Jagdfieber_GM_cd3a5790-83bf-4da7-b24a-416d41258375

I receive the error Mods folder not found. I don't get, what is wrong, because I'm selecting a MOD within the MOD folder of my Classic install path. frown

What went wrong here?

Can you open the mod if you start the Classic version of the editor?

I can select it in the Browser on Version 3.0.169.748, but when I try to edit it, the Engine is crashing. At least this was the Engine Version, I used to create the MOD/Campaign, but I have not used it for about a year. ;-)

When I try to edit one of my custom maps, it crashes with the following error:
File 'C:/Users/Mjöllnir/Documents/Larian Studios/Divinity Original Sin 2/PlayerProfiles/Mjöllnir/profile.lsb' has version 3.1.8.0, which is too new for serializer with version 3.1.6.0!

Could you have reinstalled an older version of the editor?
The current version of the Classic editor is 3.0.232.183 (divinity_original_sin_2_editor_v10.zip).

Ok, I have updated now the Classic Editor. I can now open all maps successfully in Classic, but import to Def is still not working with the same error. I have also tried to save in the Classic editor with a minor change to a map, closed Classic Editor and tried again to import in Def Editor, but still the error "Mods folder not found". :-(

Well, at least the problem isn't the mod itself.

Have you checked on Larian's Discord? There are other modders there, as well as possibly people from Larian who can offer modding support.

How large is the mod? If you can zip and email it to supportdos2@larian.com (or a Dropbox or Google drive link, etc), I can try it here, and if I get the same error, see if someone that works with the editor has any suggestions.
Depending on the data, 7-Zip's .7z format may have better compression that zip.

The mod zip should include these four paths:

.../Editor/Mods/Jagdfieber_GM_cd3a5790-83bf-4da7-b24a-416d41258375/
.../Mods/Jagdfieber_GM_cd3a5790-83bf-4da7-b24a-416d41258375/
.../Projects/Jagdfieber_GM_cd3a5790-83bf-4da7-b24a-416d41258375/
.../Public/Jagdfieber_GM_cd3a5790-83bf-4da7-b24a-416d41258375/

Also, /Medien/ and /Shared/ doesn't need to be in the /Mods/ nor any of the other paths at all.
